Super excited to share our vision for 2026: Giving Time back to the Business with Configurable Workday Apps.
Time, that is what it is all about. Focus on the things that add value and contribute to your organization's mission. With configurable Workday apps from JACS you are able to reduce the admin burden and give that time back to supporting the business directly. Less interventions, more Employee and Manager Self Service and automated outcomes. During the year our solutions will be powered by AI Agents to further reduce the admin and enhance the user experience.

New app is available from JACS: Virtual Team Manager. This app is co-developed with a Workday customer and solves real use cases.

🤖Workday DevCon Hackathon🤖 was a blast! Great new technologies amazing apps and beautiful people in the community.
Thanks to the H4ckerJACS hackathon team (combination with Workday clients) delivering an app that predicts team success using the DISC methodology, this goes beyond skills and feedback and looks at team composition based on personalities.
Our highlight of new technologies available at Devcon:
✅ Enhanced and updated App Logging: Improved Log section
✅ CoPilot PMD scripts writing: create scripts using natural language
✅ GenAI Enabled RichText widgets: use GenAI to enhance the content of a text box, based on page content
✅ Extend Cards: Add apps and actions directly to your home page
✅ Email and SMS API: send emails and text messages directly from Extend apps
✅ Extend Profile Groups: Add your extend app directly to various profiles such as Worker

These pre-released features really take Extend to the next level and opens loads of new opportunities. Hope these will be generally available soon!
Workday Elevate
On the 20th of May, JACS was present at Workday Elevate in Amsterdam. Showing the possibilities for Configurable Local Fields and how it can optimize your country-specific processes.
Next to that it was an inspiring day discussing customer challenges and how to enable Agentic AI with Workday.
Release first app: Configurable Local Fields
February 2025: After two months of hard work our first app has been approved by Workday! Meet Configurable Local Fields, this app enable workers to provide country-specific information within the Business Process Framework, automatically tailoring requests based on location in various Workday delivered processes. This replaces manual payroll data collection with a secure, digital, and fully integrated experience, enhancing accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Built on Workday Innovation Challenge
January 2025: Workday organized an innovation challenge for Built on Workday partners, hosted by AWS. JACS attended this challenge to try out the latest AWS innovations for Workday, and to finalize our first app.
Founded first native Built on Workday company
November 2024: After 10 years with PwC and more than 9 years in the Workday ecosystem I decided to start a company dedicated to elevate the Workday experience with Built on Workday apps. With the release of Workday's Marketplace this is an amazing opportunity to help clients with their needs. As a big fan of the Workday ecosystem I'm sure this is going to be a great match!
